The Social Life

Membership of the Canggu Club is above all an investment in lifestyle. The club is a venue where members can entertain friends, make new acquaintances and meet people with similar interests and perspectives.

Our meeting and function facilities offer venues for business meetings, and family, corporate or community functions. Weddings and major gatherings may also be accommodated on the club lawns.

Our regular member gatherings and societies offer the perfect opportunity for members to get acquainted with fellow members or, if newly arrived in the Bali community, to make contacts with other residents.

The club activity calendar offers organized activities as well as individual choice. Many club activities are on club premises but in other cases excursions or trips may be organized on behalf of members.

Pandan Terrace

Pandan Terrace, the club’s signature restaurant, serves a wide range of creative international cuisine, prepared by our international chef. Set on an ‘al fresco’ outdoor terrace, overlooking the club’s expansive grounds, Pandan Terrace provides quality dining options for Members and their guests. Pandan Terrace has seating capacity for 50.

Opening hours: 6.30am to 11pm.

Tapper’s Pub

With big screen live sports events, traditional pub grub and a friendly welcoming atmosphere, Tapper’s is the venue of choice for a wide range of social activities, whether a morning cappuccino, light lunch, cocktail or cup final. Easy going, relaxed and fun, Tapper’s forms the heart of the club’s dynamic social scene. The pub is divided into three sections. The main saloon encourages a lively atmosphere for socializing; and downstairs the pool room is fitted out for classic pub activities such as pool and darts.

Opening hours: 11.30am to late.

Poolside Café

Our Poolside Café is a casual all-day venue catering to the whole family. Adjacent to the main pool, with views over lush landscape on one side and the expansive greenery of the club’s playing fields on the other, the Poolside Café serves all pool areas and provides welcome refreshment for members working out in the gymnasium and aerobics rooms.

In the evenings, the Poolside Café and the pool area may be booked for private cocktail parties or other functions.

Opening hours: 8.00am to 10pm.

The Library and Lounge

In addition to the club’s formal venues, the Library and Lounge areas are perfect venues for reading, catching up with friends or relaxing in comfort. The Library is a tranquil air-conditioned retreat for reading, browsing through the club’s magazine and newspaper subscriptions or accessing our broadband internet service. The Library is also a versatile area that can be booked for more intimate events, societies, hobby groups and functions. Light refreshments may be ordered throughout the day.

Member Functions

The Canggu Club is an ideal venue to host special events or functions. Members may elect to host regular family gatherings and celebrations in surroundings that are familiar and comfortable. The club provides the perfect place for business entertaining or corporate gatherings.
Most outlets are available for members to book for larger events as well as intimate occasions. Club butlers, along with our catering executives, kitchen and service teams, are happy to design tailor-made menus and bar set ups, as well as assist with decorations, floral arrangements, meeting facilities and equipment.

Members wishing to enjoy the club experience closer to home may, on occasions, request the club cater to their home or office. Similarly, club produce and signature items will be available on a take-away basis or delivered directly to members.
