Indoor and outdoor sports are an integral part of club life and facilities are such that a huge range of sports may be enjoyed in full or mini format. Sporting facilities at the club are second to none and set the standard for leisure and recreation in Bali. Sporting life at the club revolves around individual training and fun, sports sections formed and run by members, and the children's Sports Academy program.
The club's sporting arenas include: our 95-metre floodlit sports field and adjacent practice field; a 25-metre professional swimming pool built to Australian Coaching Professionals Association standards; the indoor sports hall; and the tennis & squash centre with four tennis courts and two air-conditioned squash courts.
Professional, qualified coaches and instructors are on hand to develop and coordinate club teams, as well as offer personal instruction to individuals and groups wishing to train or compete in a professional environment. Canggu Club teams compete in premier local sporting competitions and regular international fixtures.
For children, the club has established a range of Sports Academies to create a stimulating energetic environment for all ages and provide a platform for kids to develop their abilities.
Tennis and Squash
At the Tennis & Squash Centre, four tennis courts (two covered) and two air-conditioned squash courts encourage the development of league tables and round robin matches for the competitive minded, as well as providing a focal point for training and coaching activities. A separate side court is ideally suited to individual practise or tennis classes.
Sports Field
Our floodlit sports field enables members to practice and compete both during the day in the cooler evenings. The field is suitable for just about all field sports with a wide range of equipment on hand. This facility is a prime feature of the club and is the host venue for regular international tournaments and fixtures involving Canggu Club teams.
